Welcome to MealGenio. These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your use of our website and services. By using MealGenio or creating an account, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. What MealGenio is

MealGenio is a 100% free recipe website. It offers recipes created with the help of artificial intelligence, the Chef feature, a meal planner, shopping lists and wellness sections such as “Lose Weight” and “Gym Mode”. We charge no payments, subscriptions or fees. The service is supported by affiliate links and will show ads (see sections 4 and 5).

2. Free account and minimum age

You can use recipes, Explore and Categories without signing up; Personal Chef, Search by ingredients, Weekly planner and list, Gym Mode, Weight Loss, Favorites and history require a free account. The account is created for free with just your email address and a password and, if you choose, also lets you receive the new recipes by email every week. You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your country. You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for the activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time by emailing us.

3. AI-generated content and health notice

Recipes, nutrition values, plans and Chef answers are generated or reviewed with the help of artificial intelligence and may contain errors. They are for guidance only and do not replace the advice of a doctor, dietitian or other health professional. Always check ingredients if you have allergies, intolerances or a medical condition, and follow safe food handling and cooking practices.

4. Ads

MealGenio will show third-party ads, such as Google AdSense. Ads will be labelled as such. We do not control the content of the ads or the products or services they promote. You can choose non-personalized ads in the cookie preferences.

5. Affiliate links and products

Some links lead to external stores (for example, Amazon) and are affiliate links: if you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate, MealGenio earns from qualifying purchases.

MealGenio does not sell products. Purchases are made directly with the relevant store, which is solely responsible for prices, availability, shipping, warranties and returns. Product information may change without notice. Recommendations are guidance only: MealGenio is not responsible for the recommended products or their use.

6. Acceptable use

When using MealGenio you agree not to:

  • use the service for illegal purposes or to harm others;
  • copy, bulk-scrape or resell the content without permission;
  • try to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts or data;
  • interfere with the site or with ad delivery through click fraud.

7. Intellectual property and copyright

The design, the MealGenio brand, texts and images on the site are protected by intellectual property law. You may use the recipes for personal use. If you believe any content infringes your copyright, email us at [email protected] with the content and your details, and we will review it.

8. Warranties

The service is provided free of charge, “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that it is error-free or uninterrupted, and we may change, add or remove features.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, MealGenio is not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the service, from AI-generated guidance content or from purchases made in external stores. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Suspension and closing your account

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms. You can stop using MealGenio at any time and ask us to delete your account. MealGenio charges nothing, so closing your account involves no charges.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will publish the new version on this page with its date. If you keep using MealGenio after a change, you accept the new version.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. The service is operated by the MealGenio team. In any case, you keep the rights granted by the mandatory consumer-protection law of your place of residence. For any claim, please email us at [email protected] first and we will try to resolve it.
