Instructions

  1. 1

    1. Brew the green tea with hot water at 175°F/80°C for 3 minutes, strain it, and let it cool completely until chilled.

  2. 2

    2. Wash the nectarines, remove the pits, and cut them into medium pieces.

  3. 3

    3. Add the nectarines, chilled green tea, coconut yogurt, coconut milk beverage, chia seeds, lime zest, lime juice, and honey to a blender.

  4. 4

    4. Add the ice cubes and blend for 45 to 60 seconds until smooth, creamy, and fully combined.

  5. 5

    5. Let the smoothie rest for 2 minutes so the chia can hydrate slightly.

  6. 6

    6. Divide into two glasses and serve immediately.

Chef tips

For a thicker texture, chill the chopped nectarines for 20 minutes before blending or add 1 extra tablespoon of coconut yogurt.

Substitutions

You can replace the honey with maple syrup for a vegan version. Nectarine can be swapped for peach, and the coconut milk beverage can be replaced with almond milk if there is no tree nut allergy.
