Chef tips
Use a very ripe pear for natural sweetness and a creamier texture. If the tahini is thick, stir it well before measuring so it blends more smoothly.
Substitutions
You can swap the pear for a sweet apple, though the flavor will be less floral. Greek yogurt can be replaced with thick plain yogurt. The dates may be replaced with 1 tablespoon of honey, although the texture will change slightly.
