Chef tips
Use a very ripe persimmon for natural sweetness and a silky texture. If the blood orange is especially tart, increase the honey slightly. For an even smoother texture, soak the macadamias in cold water for 15 minutes and drain before blending.
Substitutions
You can replace the oat milk with almond milk if additional tree nuts are acceptable, or with dairy milk if you do not need a partially dairy-free version. Honey can be replaced with maple syrup. Greek yogurt can be swapped for coconut yogurt for a dairy-free version.
